Arcade Convoy: Current Release – Beta Version
Arcade Convoy offers compatibility across Windows platforms from XP to Windows 11, ensuring smooth gameplay with the inclusion of a DDraw wrapper for optimal performance on newer systems. The game supports a diverse range of audio formats for an immersive experience and features enhanced graphics that do not rely heavily on video memory. Multiplayer capabilities are enhanced with support for up to 4 game controllers, making it ideal for group play.

We have exciting news! For the first time since 2008, a playable version of Arcade Convoy is now available for download. While we have focused our updates primarily on Shape Shifter, the quintessential Arcade Tetris game, we want you to experience it firsthand even though it’s still a work in progress.
Shape Shifter has been enhanced with modern features such as filters, alpha blending, overlays, and other color blends, yet it retains the nostalgic charm of the original 16-bit DDraw game from 2000. You can enjoy the original game types and challenges, and the game will still save your high scores using the old scoring system. However, please note that the rules enforcement and point system are still based on the old version and will be updated in future releases. As we refine the experience, high scores may be reset to accommodate the new scoring and high score system.
Rest assured, I am diligently working on completing all game types, challenges, and convoys to deliver a top-notch gaming experience. In the interim, I invite you to download and enjoy this early version of Arcade Convoy. Arcade Convoy Beta (1.79GB) includes MIDI and Tracker music with a selection of soundfonts, along with Arcade Convoy Radio. You don’t need to run Arcade Convoy Radio for in-game music, but it is required for internet radio features. To use custom music directories or soundfonts, set them up in Arcade Convoy Radio. If you have a second monitor, you can display the music player there, which will show detailed information about the song playing in the game.
